随着澳洲留学升温，澳大利亚部分著名学府2008年度7月开学的课程已经爆满。
牛校MONASH大学提升雅思报名不跌反升
五星级名校MONASH大学的金融、银行硕士早在３月就没有位置了，会计和其他商课硕士也将在五月九日宣布关闭申请。MONASH大学在本年早期时候宣布了所有商课硕士均要雅思均分7.0，但是如此高的要求不但没有吓退申请人，反而使人感觉其严格的质量控制和名校口碑是名不虚传。
同时有很多在境内大学读书的本科生，如维多利亚大学的学生，毕业成绩发放会比较晚，往往会错过开学时间而失去位置。
RMIT大学的课程也异常火爆
另外墨尔本的四星级大学皇家墨尔本理工大学 (RMIT University) 也宣布其2008年7月开学的商课的大部分本科和硕士也已经爆满，不再接受申请，据
